maps like retribution or campgrounds etc, from ql has stable fps. so don't need to remove them form rotation.

guys, bout fps drops is just matter of hardware, ur video card or something else sux, so, instead of download maps, lower ur graphic detail. u can also make a custom cfg with low detail and another one with high detail, when u get more detailed/larger maps u /exec LOW, when u get some normal/smaller maps u /exec NORMAL. ql maps gives fps drops primarily coz of better fog effect etc. i think also from conversion for q3 but not so much.

i think campgrounds werent ql version, but yes retribution was from ql,(not getting any fps drops

but cant the maps from ql be replaced with the ones in pak0? (like retribution) because... why? just the idea itself makes wonder, why take the same map, with adverts?

my graphics cards specs
intel HD graphics family video ram 784mb,
tell me again whats it to do with hardware?
ok maybe, just maybe i could use lower graphics. but the awesome part starts when i have to run it in in windowed because other video modes are not compatible with my display

And no any FPS drops on any map. So i think it not depend from video card.

hmmm... Then it must be in your cfg file. some commands are mb wrong. are you tryed r_picmip command? Or then are you updated your video driver? if yes, try with orginal. if no, try update if available. then 3rd thing. Try put lower resolution to windows before the game run.
