today i will try to create a q3 server for raspberry pi 4 board.
it is a cheap 24/7 server that you can have at home and let it run, while the administration is done directly at home which is better for amateur servers
raspberry pi 4 B costs less, it will be for this version because I have this version here, it does not apply to RPi3 or RPi5, it will not work on that !!
I will set up the Raspbian Lite operating system with the Fluxbox desktop
I will prepare and do everything, I will also upload some well known maps
When I have everything ready, I will remove the memory card image from it which will be 16GB so that cards that are larger will fit
I will make it so that everything starts automatically after boot
I need my board to also play mp3 on wireless headphones, it will do that too, but you don't have to use it
It should be ioquake3-server which is available for raspbian
I don't know yet about the hack option, a restart should fix it
I will send here a link to download the packaged SD card image and the procedure for uploading it to the device (everything will be Linux)

server can run only normal quake 3 (ioquake3) not E+ , but it run

it does not support mods like excessiveplus (reason - raspberry pi platform is arm and mod is for x86)

but you can play classic vanilla ioquake3 server settings

now i UPLOADING files to google disk (need some time)

after download and unrar you obtain RPi4B ioquake3_server.img file

buy raspberry pi 4 B hardware board , power , cabels , micro sd card (32 GB is enought)

rawrite img file to your micro sd card , use youtube video tutorial how to do it

after done, plug sd card to your raspberry pi and start power on

you can controll server : follow these files :

/root/.q3a

/home/quake3/.fluxbox/startup

/home/quake3/start

/sbin/quake3-server-start

learn little more : ask on google, type your questions in button AI Mode ,

or ask others here around

server pretty work but not E+ only vanilla ioquake3
