Too many configs!!!!!!!!
I've been checking the plus-ctf and i think it is well balanced i just would like it to have faster grenade cycle cause for movement 500 is a bit too slow for us maybe 350 will do, also for the ctf cfg i think no multijumps is better besides that i think everyting is perfect, just my personal opinion but maybe this is the wrong thread t alk about it, anyways good job on this cfg's.

U dont need to vote.U need to convince server owners to use the cfg u would like them to use.I see that as the main problem,not voting for a default cfg.

I would never change my cfg on our servers, specially on the ctf one not for one cfg with multijumps, so ratz is right it is up to the server owners what cfg to use, however i feel plus-ctf is almost there as I said jut a few changes and it might be good enough to make it default.

well i don't see big probs with multijumps, some like it, some other not, personnally i don't really care exept on ctf4 cauz it's nonsense here, maybe a poll about it could solve the prob.
An other suggest about ctf conf would be to reduce switchtime between nade and bfg in plus cfg cauz some moves aren't possible.
About other gamtypes, nh and plus config are both great enough.

I agree with bodz about switchtime on grenades and bfg cause they need to be faster to allow better movement, if cycle is faster and no mj maybe i'll be willing to use it on our ctf server (upon previuos discussion with starless).

This spawns a few thoughts. No, no professional game / mod does this. Actually, I don't believe there is another mod anywhere near as customizable as E+. Our servers can be anything the admin wants it to be. This is both it's strength and it's weakness.
On one hand, E+ has a lot of potential. On the other hand it causes some problems within the community. Clans debating which configs to play/practice, both internally and against other clans. The latter has somewhat been solved with the plus teams efforts with plus.cfg.. but then you some clan members that are used to faster configs.. I've known of a few clan members (shall remain unnamed) that have actually left, or nearly left their clans because their clan complied to the new plus.cfg standard.
Even though it would have limited the customization possibilities of the mod, I believe it was a big mistake on the E+ devel teams part, introducing such configurable weapon switch time. This is what makes configs such a debate.. if it weren't for that, I believe this topic wouldn't be as debatable as it is today.

I couldn't have said that any better!!! But we can say to the devs: Take out that customizability, because then the community would split up into two parts i think...

Yup. We are small comunity. And real danger exists. I was spoke with both sides BRO (Mulle) and PLUScfg (Flex1) and try to more equalise cfgs. Mulle in fact after talking post in public BRO (because PLUS asid that they dont know how look like present BRO). Everything seem to be with happy end. Mow.Q said that he make longer switch time and come near switchtime to BRO. Everything goes in right direction. Now is moratorium. Freeze Summer Cup will played on PLUS.cfg (rules) which exclude BRO, thats is not good. Nobody knows what future bring to us. But we will see.

So what do you think. Shall we start some vote, which cfgs should be default cfgs. Or should we perhaps start a vote to create a new default cfg like mow did. It just sucks so damn much that so many servers run so many different configs and no professional game does that.
