Why is that? I think that's pretty much what you asked for.
Aynways, to prevent such problems in the future, perhaps config developers should consider adding Creative Commons licenses to their configs, you can clearly define what you want and don't want people to do with your work.

just to come back on the main purpose of the topic, i'm quite agree there is too much config and even same configs are differents depends on the server, for example plus cfg on german and spanish server have big difference, on 1 there is nade jump possible, on the other not.
Could be great to have a default configs agreed per gametype to play all clanwars so rank results will be exactly fair and same for all wars and all clans, maybe creating a big poll about it will be nice
