I and some friends were talking about the many different cfgs that are running on the servers and we found that they are really too many. It sucks that you cannot play they way you're used to on many servers, while many similarities between the cfg you normally play and the other one exist. Why does every clan have to make his own server config? It makes absolutely no sense for me. Why do some serveradmins force the player to switch over to grenadejumps when they are used to rocketjumping by removing the rocketlauncher?
I think something must be done here!!! Most configs are baised on e5, bro or nh cfg, so why not making them default configs for all servers. The s2 cfg is accepted very well by most players too, so this one could be a default config as well, but a later poll shall decide about that, if you want an alteration. Servers which run one of these default cfgs could be allowed to add a "[official]" or something else behind their server name and people who want to play e+ seriously can then go on one of those servers without worriing about anything... 
So what do you guys think? Are you also pissed of by the many different configs? Or perhaps you have even better ideas than the [official]-method...
btw I know the nh is based on bro, but it is a cfg which is accepted by all so i named it as a base cfg.

Server hosters change configs depence of their needs. But usualy they dont ask anybody what changes will be maded. Everybody of us have things which like or dislike in some cfg. IMO will be great to anny changes which have to be maded first put on poll, why 
: Because people play on server and if cfg is more suited for their needs then more people will play on that particular server.
Personaly I dont like to fast switch time, I wrote about that several times. Also now some servers have LG more powerfulll then before. I dont like LG because you dont see nothing when couple of people use in same time LG, and you are fast dead, dont see in what you have to shot... Also I dont see why switch time have trend to be faster and faster.... If I wanna play faster switch I will connect to E5r server. Now you have "scripting" and "piano players"... insted of smarter or sharp shoters... Yea, IMO that is more to suited noob players and players which have more energy or adrenaline... They can play on E5r servers if they like. Unfortunately I have bad ping on BRO servers which are more suited to my needs and alot people also, so those servers are mostly empty... sad...

Moving
BFG need for moving, rockets need for moving, nades need for moving, LG need for riding wals.... 
multijumping need for moving (all time incresed)... Let me think, lets do it that you can fly (on demand), or walk/run..... Just make switch.... And also switch time 0 ms, and what rest from original Q3.... : Soon, will no diference between E5 and BRO and E+ and excessive...

bro.cfg is the defoult cfg hehe
the rest is just copys and replics.
The e5 is the defoult.cfg heh the rest is copys and replics.
A copy ore replic as defoult cfg hmm sounds wrong
But mee and the bro.cfg and servers that ceept this mod going for some years is now gone and son forgoten.

Rena,I disagree.If u know how to move,u dont need any weapon for moving ;] Seriously,I personally dont like multijumping,imo it would be much better and more interesting without it.As for weapons,I would like to see bfg that could only be used for moving but not for killing.

verry much for explanations what diferences is. And please dont ofence at all. My intention is always constructive. I just write my opinion how I feel and what I supouse. BTW I dont play any more on 2!sweets servers or verry rearly because of LG ant IMO to fast switch time. I know that is much easier to criticise then be constructive. I apriciate your work, always apriciate hard workers. Nice is knowing who is in Plus team also. What I see in Plus what dont like I already dimensioned. Stay cool.
But if my visions are correct I will soon migrate to OSP or CMPA or ultrafreeze. Stay cool.
@Ratz We perfectly understand each other. My post about moving are ironic. So, BFG I use mostly for trickjumps, but is verry good weapon for kill, but you must know how, many people use BFG wrong as attacking weapon. Firefox know how use BFG verry eficiant as attack weapon.
@Mowly Add some power to PG beside LG and you will dont see nothing in close range combat where are 3 - 5 people in close range. IMO LG is worst weapon in q3 and is usefull only for riding walls in CTF mostly in that space map.

AFAIK I mentioned your cfg too, because I think it is a good one. And we are not talking about punkbuster configs here, so there is really no need to be offensive. So in what way was my suggestion not thoughtfull to create a more professional environment for the professional player (and the noob of course as well) in which he can be sure to play on a server with a well balanced and professional cfg? : : :

If a serveradmin puts the changes he wants to make in a poll, the general oppinion about that will be reflected, so why not let a poll decide which configs are the best and which shall become [official]...
I think you are right about that and it can be argumented in an objective way. First of all spam is for noobs, because in a shooter one should aim precisely instead of waiting for someone to run into a players' rocket. This is an rule that everybody accepts. At least I think so. A faster switchtime equals more spam
Faster switch is evil!! 
Mg and LG are both fastshooting(spam) weapons and making them stronger would mean to raise spam 
evil!! Also, some servers have multijump disabled, but isn't e+ all about the MJ? I mean the MJ gives the player the option to move around more freely, which creates more room for professionals.
Everyone wants the e+ community to be a community of professionals, don't you? So everyone should accept that everything noob-like/unprofessional must be removed out of the CFGs (which doesn't mean that I want to prevent noobs from playing e+).
