some scipts are harmless, i know. but a good player does not need sripts.

Since you admit you've never used a movement script, let's ask the next logical question -- have you, then, played against someone who uses a movement script? Someone who can strafe in figure-eights while, say, traversing the lower curved hallway in DM6 backwards, dodging your LG, rockets, and everything else while sticking close to the wall on the inward arc of their figure-eight and then looping backwards to their left into the plasma stairwell as they come through the doorway...
im thinking u thought that whole scenario up in ur mind? . cos first its pretty tough to do in game, with or without scripts. and second it would totally pointless cos it would only get u killed faster. assuming ofcourse ur enemy is half intelligent.
a lot of scripts (@mow - script as in combined commands, most commonly using vstr, designed to give u an advantage by automating something that would normally take a lot of skill) are lame and all that. but i just dont c scripting giving anybody any sort of major advantage that they wouldnt have gotten if theyd spend a little time learning the skill.
ps: wonder just which part of my comments on the ixtimer was pointless. but then when u bring up an irrelevant comment, its only reasonable to label a response pointless.

Um, I've seen people that are almost impossible to hit because of zig-zag + figure-eight movement that they got by only holding down one key. They had movement scripts. I've seen them in action, I've seen how the people who use them play after disabling them, and there is a stark contrast. It shouldn't work, theoretically, but it does.
RS could give us input on movementscript... IU players don't seem to mind this kind of script so much at all, but they piss me off in E+ when we have SO many movement options due to no selfdamage (let alone BFG slides and multijumps).
next there will be an auto aim script then we will have a complete bot.
