What is the maximum allowed players to play in a normal offiacial rank game ?

NOT FOR CUPS but for NORMAL RANKING GAME

there is no maximum, 6v6 is same valid as 4v4, 7v7 or 8v8. The point is that there were 2on2 tournaments which do not represent the clan.

I've got a question concerning this rules

14. Same two clans can't play CW at one gametype twice in a row (it's allowed in case event forces them to). (cf. http://www.excessiveplus.net/forums/thread/plus-ranking-rules)

What "in a row" means here? same day or 2 consecutive cw, regardless of the time between them?
Can we play same day tag, tdm, tag?
If first cw was a week ago but none of the 2 clans have played cw since, they can't play together same gametype even if second cw is a month later?
If we want return match immediatly we can't do it in same gametype?
Both clans have to play a different gametype or vs another clan? or just one has to?

Honestly I've never noticed this rules and I really don't get the point of it. Enlighten me please.

point of it was that some clans in past only fought each other, so they pushed one of both clans point in ranking which gave them a higher ranking then other clans even though they play a lot worse.

Aren't we using elo's system? Even if first and last clan fight each other constantly first one won't take many points anyway, and let's be honnest this situation does not happen nowadays.
Considering that currently 4-5 clans are really active in each config (playing not only during cups), the odds of playing 2 consecutive and similar cw are increased.

IMO the reason Skull gave is outdated and so is this rule.

But if you still wanna keep it how is it now then RM should explain us clearly what this rule means and answer my previous questions. Maybe we could at least adjust it by including a time limit like they can't play same day or week, or allowing return macth if it's the same day, or increasing the limit from 2 to 3 consecutive games. Different time different rule.

Elo rating system that the e+ ranking is using, should be enough.

The points won are in-direct proportional with the points difference of both clans.(as bigger it is as less points you'll get ) This is why is more efficient to play clanwars against clans with ~ same amount of points.
