I know what you mean, and i can't say i blame you. It would be unfair, however, to not give the mod a fair chance for that reason.

that is a PHPBB3 bug, since they are moderators of their clans forums and all moderators are treated equally by phpbb3, no matter what the forum.

So if FAG was to get a clan forum on edawn, and you would be the moderator of it, then you will show on 'THE TEAM' as well.

Otherwise, as mad said, personal relations to any members of the actual 'TEAM' there should not affect your opinion about the MOD itself.

There will be a topic presenting the actual TEAM of edawn.

As for clanranking which currently is not available, it will be up shortly and it will be an entirely automated process.

and will not try to compare both mods,
people will decide which mod is better by themselves.

It's natural that both mods will be compared. What is wrong with doing that? It's obvious, like you said, that people will decide themselves what mod they will play. Why are you denying Trance his right to express his own opinion?

aNk stays in both, but we already switched aNk serwer to Edawn mod cos it has very smooth netcode and some better features and constant development. No offence but you are the ones being smallminded by not trying new mod cos of "the people involved" ... I for example dont like skull, and am against some decisions foksie made so? I still play the game just dont t ke too much part on the ED forum anymore apart from wikipedia shit and private aNk matters. If you fail to see that, then you suck. Edawn is similar to 1.04 but better than 1.04 if you compare both versions. PLay whatever you want though.

Kind of funny to read this, you managed to IGNORE Trance's reply @ IRC - yet, you fail to do same here.. odd, innit?

As for edawn, I like the way it is going.

I've suggested like 16 improvements and most of them (11) were implemented within few days (the remaining ones are to be implemented in the next release) - if excessiveplus devs can top that, it's gonna be a hell lot of an interesting competition.

Im just curious what would happen if we released edawn on time... by that I mean arround the time this topic was made, few months ago when easy was still missing and 1.04 was nowhere on the horizon. Im pretty sure noone would even ask about e+ 1.04 now nor would they mention some individuals they have a personal grudge against.

So lets state some facts (cold and hard):

- this place was torn apart by inactivity of developers, no updates and big clans like swe, ko, drt and eventually lem leaving this place, along with many many good players who started playing other games simply cause this mod wasnt updated and was left in a crappy state full of bugs. And ofc bad behaviour of admins here

- edawn was coded in ~ 7-8 months by most of the time 1 developer, e+ didnt reach phase 1.04 (final) since release of 1.03 in 2006 (3.5 years)

Those who stay on e+ u can in one way thank this topic and the edawn crew for getting your + team up and running cause even a blind man can see they made such a big rush simply because edawn was right arround the corner... btw if ur lucky u might get 1.05 by 2012 Winking

This probably earns me a ban, but who cares right... cu on edawn.
