trance. What if we make a conference/chat on IRC on any E+ related channel to discuss a posibility of a massive migration.
IF we respect the Clans. Forums, Server names and posibly mantain Excessive as name we might go to something new.
I suggest a good encounter with the heads of E+.
We can even lead a nice marketing project to atract more people once we get this new mod feeling. Like some videos to promote them over thousands of gaming forums related to quake. I have acces to a huge Forum Database any topic related.
With the power of youtube and many other medias we can get something reaaally powerful. Most important to stay togheter as the community we are
The last add is that if we do this in a very organized way we can even get up to 50 servers up n runing this new mod.

Dunno about others but for me it means having contact with mod makers, I mean about mod issues not forum issues or sth. Quick updates, at least 1 or 2 update per year is enough, flawless of game play and net code (like in cpm or ufreeze or instagib), having the possibility to configure server cfg to avoid unnecessary spam or stupid spawn kills. That's it more or less, not too much after all

How about having all the bugs present in 1.04 beta and before fixed? How about a much better netcode? Not to mention some suggestions made by the ppl in these forums already being implemented?
Are those reasons enough? The choice is yours.

Well Spider the person behind this mod is not interested in such a merger, he just wants to give the ppl of this community what they have been wanting for a few years now, all under a new, independent brand/name. Everything is already set up and ready for launch (forums, wiki, bug tracing/reporting tool etc).
Also remember this is not about marketing or making the mod extremely popular, it is just an answer to the demands voiced out by the people playing excessiveplus. Newcomers will come by themselves like they did on this mod in its beginning. But ofc once the mod is out nobody will stop ppl from promoting it individually via youtube or whatever.
