from my experience i cn say: u will be banned as long as ban.txt file will exist there.
for admin there iam cheater too (since years?) Happy and any words can change it.

Any idea why I might have gotten banned on the ERA DM17 ELITE'Z server? I receive nothing more than just "Banned." message when I try to connect. My current IP is 94.27.68.135.

You're probably using a blacklisted cd-key, try changing it.

tried that right before posting here -- same result.
would changing the cd key change the guid as well? i wasn't banned when i was on the server -- just found a few days ago that i was banned when i tried to connect as usual, so i'm assuming that i may match someone who was actually banned in either guid or IP or something else.
