this is the forum for the excessive plus mod.. it is all about variety of configs.. 

make a config with weaponsettings you like, show it to the people, ask server owners to host it and you will get response.. everything else is more like whining about other people using weapons you dont use or didnt master

and for my oppinion of bfg: all can use it, it needs proper aiming it is important for shooting at targets one didnt see yet but know that they are there, it is a very usefull tactical device if employed properly .. just play a 4vs4 or 5vs5 ctf match against xelon/ruben and you will see Winking

and besides that .. all the newbie players that play q3 starts using only 1 weapon guess what is that? BFGG ..
so no bfg = no newbies ? that's bad Sad

the bfg is in quake 3 since begin...you cant change it now after over 10years because you dont like it lol....if you dont like it then play on other servers where it make no damage but bfg MUST make damage for me i dont like when weapons in quake dont make damage its useless and shit ;P

Yes, BFG should do no damage, too easy to use, to spam, no difficult to kill... like in banana.cfg Happy

maybe ppl would start use other weapons than only rail +bfg

i dont like its splash damage (nades?). spose u can say timing air shots is skill. on most maps i dont mind it, but its verry anoying on ctf1 where u can just fire through the windows and rack up multi kills while they spawn/run into your fire.

try a railonly cfg Winking

i would say we could reduce the splash damage but then we could upper the plasma bla bla endless discussions are wurth nothing and so on bla bla :F

So first i would see a bgf that work, example in e5r u shot = kill, here in plus i must use bfg+rocket+lg in full body and enemy dance happy and quiet the samba without die Big grin.
