The goal for this thread was to explain why Paradise got the ban and what he should change to avoid further actions and also to make other players understand the reasons behind. I'm glad that goal was fulfilled.
As to the offtopic freedom speech: exactly because the server is public and anyone is welcomed, one shall behave like in most public places and not disturb others too much. Hence the common sense rules.
Mute is and never was the preferred way to deal with this. If it was, there would no rule on Beer to begin with. The preferred way to deal with constant rule breakers is not to ignore and thus silently accept them, but get rid of them and that what is going to happen, as a last resort, if all other kind requests fail.
95+% of the players get it before, or on the first warnings. If the usual 5% troublemakers do not (want to) get it, they have to deal with the possible consequences.

seems this guy's mind is even more troubled than i thought, after all the posts and comments of ppl, hes talkin like nobody wrote anything, he didn't get not even 1% of what has been saying. he still insists talkin about ppl "disturbing" other ppl in public, he doesn't get that disturbing a person means "directly"...the way he talks is like it's forbidden in public square plaza that for example u are slapping ur friend's head with a baloon and hes spitting u, coz ppl around feels disturbed by that. anyway it's pointless to keep talking....is these so called "heroes of the order" would get it, we wouldn't be wasting our time on such topic...at least kersy finaly understood the point and pretended to change subject but this dude instead....goes down with the ship till the end...

FYI:
1. Paradise usually aims his trash talk not just at his buddies, but others too, even if that person does not like it.
2. There has been several complaints about Paradise. People get disturbed by his behavior and you cannot tell others what should disturb them and what not. That is not your call.
3. This has been going on for a while.
There is no need to defend casual, sometimes dirty talk among mates, since that is not what happened. As Kersy pointed out to you, you are not banned on Beer either, so it is really pointless to start a generic panic with "oh my, if I say a bad word to a buddy, I will be banned". That is not what happened here.

Diablo, I think you simply took his bait, even though you probably should have known better. If I look at his past forum posts, to me a clear pattern arises: he feels to have the right to abuse anyone he wants to, but as soon as he is the one that gets hurt (getting kicked out of groups or servers due to his bad behavior, getting caught on suspected cheating, etc), he turns himself into a little innocent angel and pretends he is the victim suppressed by the powerful ones. There is a huge contrast between the behavior he produces when he is abusing others and when he gets hurt. He also likes to gather people around, thanking them all the support, when he needs one.
This may be just a neat trick or simply he is just acting as an NWA wannabe, but otherwise a normal guy - who knows. However he did that trick multiple times in the past, just like in this case.
I have my personal opinion about that kind of behavior, but as a ref, I want to give the benefit of a doubt to anyone first, even if past patterns suggest otherwise. Time will tell anyway if that choice was correct or not.
