hi i got problem i install q3 (after some time) and i cannot connect to any server it says that server using protocol 68, anyone know wtf? thx
Hello guys,I've made my own Instagib configuration and it seems to work fine. However, I've got some questions.Is "\callvote conf instagib" the only way to load a configuration file? I do guess that there are more because it's huge mod. :DAlso, is there anyway to make the score count up without having to frag, i.e., getting hits on target, it would be great to create an Instaclean mod, great for practice! XD
By the way, if anyone wants to try it out, I've attached it here.To use the configuration, extract the config file from the archive and place it in the excessiveplus/cfg/ folder.

I have this issue once I am at the server Slaughterbox1v1 playing, the game most of the time crashes at the end of each map or the beginning of another, and sometimes it does happen at the middle of the game but the most rare,
I feel like if the problem got to do with using the console, but times it happen where using other normal buttons just to interact with the game,

Recently I decided to start playing Quake III E+ again after a break that lasted about 4 - 6 years. I see a lot has changed since then, which is also the reason I'm creating this thread. You see, back when I played, I believe it was still version 1.03 I used to be really into all this server administration, modding, you know, all that jazz. But now, after this long time, my memory seems to fail me.
The problem is, my server isn't appearing in the server browser, even though people can connect to it from the console.
My own server is not shown in the server spider list. It works. People can get in.

I have a question concerning time.
Is there a CVAR which holds the value of time played on a map, or remaining maptime for that matter ?Seen in the HUD's GameTime, but cant access it in any other CFG (server, crontab ..)Also seen something like it in the spider php example, there it's called map_time, but cant access that one either.Is this possible, is it stored in a CVAR so i can use it in crontab ?

I have a problem with the ZMB Server. When I'm trying to connect to it, the step "awaiting challenge" never finish. I'm connecting to the server with the QConnect link in the server spider page.
I must force connect because the server doesn't responding to my connection request (1000ms).
I noticed too that the server doesn't appear in the QConnect interface. I tried to connect by entering the IP in Quake 3 but its still awaiting challenge.
Every others servers work fine for me.
Hi, I would like to know how can I choose manually a map to play?I know I can have my rotation list, but lets say I want to play right now the map Q3DM11, what I have to do? There's some command to load the map?
Also, there's some way to auto load plusN every new arena? cause I always have to load it manually.
