map remake request

i have map remake request from my side .

i want map "coldrun" with flags CTF at start and at and of map , problem is coldrun is defrag map with only one spwan point so still nobody remake that map to CTF style

i mean in this map is target jump to the end and then jump back

rounds how much often player can do it , will be good computed when flag CTF counter is used

no bots needed

in this map is relative easy go there to the end, but going back is harder, you must use conf with good granade jump or BFG slide so this map remake to the CTF with flags bring ExcessivePlus defrag map

target is go there for flag then go back to my flag , no oponents , no bots , only select conf , create demo for example

phleaes rebuild it somebody , problem is descibed , only one spawn point is barier to simply put two flags there

you must complete work on map all parts , i hope it can be copy pasta rebuild somehow

again ophlease build it somebody

you can just edit the ent file to set flag spawnpoints?

Options:
1. Editing .pk3 files, for example, using the NetRadiant program - netradiant.gitlab.io

2. Via map customization xp_noCustomEnts 0 - excessiveplus.net/documentation/server/map-modification

1. Try moving the flag on q3dm17 first
  ♦ excessiveplus > maps > q3dm17.add - there are coordinates like this. Change them.

    }
  ♦ How to find new coordinates to input? 
    • Stand on the spot where the flag should be
    • Enter the following into the console: /viewpos
 
2. Create your own new file for your map similar to q3dm17.add

I set the flag and spawn locations to my liking.

1. In the server config, set: xp_noCustomEnts 0
2. Add this file to the server folder: excessiveplus > maps
3. Restart the server

If you want to change the coordinates, you can get them in the running game client using the command: /viewpos

thnak you very much , we are near now , but it does not work .. so bad

i set the command to server ( !!@ Shimpy Go Yippy Ou )

i add file to excessiveplus / maps to server and to client

then i play fast as i can for watch results

flags are presented

red player start at red spawn , i try red

after i bring blue flag to red flag , it show logo flag done

( circle icon half blue half red diagonal divided )

but here is problem with this great challenge > score dont change

it still show zero to zero

♦ You didn’t have to add the file to the client, it’s not needed there.

♦ In order for the flag count to start, two players are required on the server, so for the test, log into the server with two players.

♦ None of these modes will allow you to change the flag count on your own without at least one opponent:
1. Capture the Flag - CTF - g_gametype 4
2. Return the Flag - RTF - g_gametype 5
3. One Flag CTF - 1FCTF - g_gametype 6

♦ If you want to create an .aas file for bots, you will need to fix the leak in the map geometry.
Leak coordinates:
1111.000000 39.000000 660.000000 → 0.000000 96.000000 448.000000

.aas file i dont know what i have to create

i map bot cant be used

I have already highlighted the word 'defrag' in red because I just noticed it.
Do you really want to artificially create a Defrag mode in the Excessive Plus modification, or am I imagining it?

If so, here are the questions:
1. What do you or any other player on the server expect to see on the scoreboard after collecting all the flags? Is the overall game time or the time it takes to capture each flag important? Or something else?
2. How will the game work on the server when there are two or more players? Will they interfere with each other, either accidentally or intentionally? If you can negate the enemy's weapon damage, what will you do if the enemy can take your flag?

i have server set to switch gametypes in different maps , normal conf for all games ( !!@ Shimpy Go Yippy Ou )

i dont need defrag special mode

i only go in coldrun , after rotation.txt gives it , then simply try to jump for flag and bring it to my flag , my target is count flags how much i bring beacoz jump from start to end and then going back is hard for me include special confs

i dont have players on server , is only for me beacoz is less popular and run only when i have PC on

time to bring flag is not target , i use 10 minutes limit and count how much times i bring flag to home

for example in 10 minutes i bring 8 flags , before i count in memory simply rounds

i dont have more players

i dont negate enemy demage

actual is version BRANCH , my conf what i used is tiger.cfg (plusN and e5r combination) with all demage speed beacoz i want play other maps on server with other gametypes, so conf must be universal
