Well, I never said I don't like it as it is now, the only problem for me is those two matters: no /drop cmds, powerup time/order are fucked up. All I'm saying is that atleast those need to be fixed.

i liked vanilla from the beginning, im playing not so long time there (1 year) but i dont see any reason to change good and exciting game. im F2 for any changes in vanilla and im F1 to leave vanilla as it is now.
do what you want but dont fuck it up, cause it is the only place for me to play at this time

What kind of change would fuck it up in your point of view? I don't think fixing PU's, adding wep/flag/pu drops would prevent you from having fun.
copying the cfg from osp is the best idea so far, imo.

dunno if you want it but i opened a Test configuration!
Version Vanilla 2.3 on
- add : Drop Flag, Drop Weapon, Drop Powerup = from khaz requested
Drop Enable = DR_FLAG | DR_WEAPON | DR_POWERUP;
- add specially for Tournament a weaponsrespawn = 5 from epsi requested
if ( $g_gametype == GT_TOURNAMENT ) { powerups = PW_NONE; g_weaponrespawn = 5;

Every1 Please remember this is not another PlusN or Insta All Weapons
config. You can survive from a rail shot, you need to take those armors
and that Quad/ Haste is not OP. Take it, do damage kill ppl, thats how
this config is played.

Just break with your sentimental chains connected with Vanilla, the thing is the old Vanilla is dead anyway and what do we have now is just a blast from the past. We need to fix it to not die for the 3rd time. We need to fix it to make people want it to play. To make people stay with us.
When someone comes from the oustide he has mixed feelings about this config and because of that it's a low chance this person comes to play with us again, they feel limited. Best example? You remember Sn1 aka Farfalla, just ask him about this config. He will tell you the same...
Just open your minds for the new experience.

Bozo, you're quite wrong. I started playing on Vanilla like a week after my 15 birthdays, that's why I took LoverBoy15 nickname. Now I'm almost 20 so it'll be 5 years on Vanilla! CTF. As we once talked you're here quite longer than me so you count it how many years you're here. I am absolutely sure it's not just 3 years in this place
back to ontopic:
I know it's easy for me to say it - "fix this, fix that or create this". Seriously, I would do it myself if I knew how. I do not understand any single line in the server configs, it's like one of the things I am absolutely sure I will never understand.
