score = frags - deaths
Having stats at the end of the match is different than changing the score rule.
It is possible to extend the way the score is calculated, included different score for each weapon or having a chain bonus as already mentionned.

it's basically not racing people for frags, but for efficiency to win!
efficiency of 50%=10 frags & 10 deaths = 0 points (10-10)
efficiency of 100%= 10 frags & 0 deaths = 10 points? (10-0)

I would add some balancing factor making the game harder for high score player (making it harder to keep high score). For example more the score - slower you shoot// Otherwise I do not see that great difference from ordinary FFA
