i dont care about anti cheat programs reason i am only single player. i feel save now. admin ore ref should see if someone play wifth levels of program. but not every single player.

I can imagine how the anticheat works i dont have to search it and i didnt ask to change the way it works but for the advantage it gives when someone have access into it. I cant say if the Cws or Fws are clear coz i dont have proofs for that. None must have access either is admin or ref or single player. The easiest way to do it is to lock the code and make the servers create always a log file like the 1 with Guid, IP , players name, Console messages etc... and when someone is dropped for suspecting cheating contacts with the admin of the server to give him infos about what the log file says.

The issue of whether to show ACS: ON/OFF on scoreboard is interesting but it seems to me that the Devs could end this entire hubbub by releasing 2.2c which among other things changes the ACS password. Then again, I guess it would take no time for ppl to start monkeying with the code and/or blabbing the password.

In matter of fact I didnt used developers ACP command since a looong time, I did it only when this thing was on beta phase on closed beta servers then a little on publics when official version were released to check if it works correctly, to report false detects etc...
So go ahead Rayden if you think you could bypass ACP by yourself, I dont know anybody here on E+ that could do it themself, I knew one guy his name was glizda, he said once that he could easily make his own custom cheat that would be undetectable and I believe him to this day even if his no longer active since a long time here.
btw to your information, I deleted acp pwd for all the servers I have access.

That isn't much of a problem, as said, locking the anticheat causes 2 things: A - we can't debug if clean players are kicked and B: kiddos dont have access to something that doesn't give private data. Besides that people will simply run 2.2b if they want so a update doesn't bring shit.

Besides that the anticheat isn't meant to catch custom cheats, its meant to get rid of the easy cheaters who run their cheat whole time so people like me don't have to watch demos and to post endless screenshots videos etc to show someone cheats to other players.
Anyways, any suggestion you do should be directly forwarded to devs, since noone of the community can do a shit about it.

I tell somewhere that i can bypass the anticheat? No. The only thing i say all the time is that if the anticheat is in level 0 scripts can run without detected and if many people arround here have this access to make the level of the anticheat 0 they can use mouse scripts without detection. @ it wouldn't be also a problem to give no notification at all and lock all ACS features to be accessible, but since easy released it in public release many severs owners did turned it OFF... sad but true... most of u guys remember that we had in this community also a guys who hosted a lot of the servers and was cheaters themselves...

@ some did it because the ACS do not allow to use scripts, some did it because they are over-paranoid and think it LAGS like PB and finally some did it to cheat...
Exactly and the last 1 ( they did it for cheat ) sounds more true. We live in 2012 now and all new mouse even the old once have software to make scripts. And its pretty easy to do it if you know the basics of programing ( IF, OR, AND etc.. ).
