Yeah I had the same, the enemies looked incredibly huge and I had the feeling that I was moving in slow-motion. I fixed it with increasing cg_fov. With I had cg_fov "110", now I play with cg_fov "120".

so u play in 4:3/1280x1080@120hz, will try this one.
but imo i will play it on 100 fov maybe 105...120 its to much for me Tongue

how about AMA ? and Instant Mode?

No! xD I play with 1920x1080@120 Hz with cg_fov 120. With my old 19'' monitor I played with 1280x1024@60 Hz and cg_fov 110.

I have benq XL2420T too..good monitor.. in quake 4:3 17" for me it's good whit 120hz..beafore i have crt 15" so 17 it's better for now:) or set 19" in alternative 19in 16:10 21wide screen or 22 16:10..
24 for all bf3 too..come i kick u ass:P

hardcore is for life:)

Standard Picture Mode have AMA and Instant Mode on by default. If I would have modified any of them I would have stated on the settings Winking

So my setting is: player 1

Brightness= 100%
Contrast= 50%
sharpness=5%
Black eQualizer=12
Ama=activate

No DynamicContrast

When start q3 sett in automatic 17".. on cfg sett refresh at 120hz and gogogo:)

hardcore is for life:)
