Just wanted to know whether anyone has got that display? If so, how satisfied are you regarding input lag etc? Other suggestions for fast wide-screen TFT displays beyond 20'' are welcome. Thanks!

I got the Samsung SyncMaster 245B 24" for about 3 years now and im very happy with it.
Its preety good for gaming and watching videos. i would buy it again Happy

Depends on your usage of it, if input lag is your only concern have a look at the 120hz panels. Otherwise you would be better off with something not geared for gaming (if color representation is a concern etc).

Oh, well, price doesn't matter, i like reading things like that. So, if price really does not matter, this is the best 27" monitor u can get:

All of this 3 monitors have beaten up ur prefered monitor in all test-comparisons i found, even the cheaper benQ.

I have this one Samsung 2233RZ and its very good, works on 120hz, have option to change from 16:9 to 4:3, its very good monitor, if you want gaming one Happy.

I plan to use this panel basically for gaming but will also do some home office, programming etc. Maybe I will watch a movie from time to time, but this really isn't that important. I don't want a CRT btw. It's too huge and in addition the power consumption of such panels are no more up to date.

Thanks for your suggestions! When I said "price doesn't matter" I wasn't aware that panels with a price higher than my 50'' Panasonic exist lol. I refuse to pay more money for a PC display than I paid for my 50'' TV! Big grin

The BenQ isn't adjustable in height but this is more or less a must for me. It's quite unhealthy for the neck to stare downwards all the time and I haven't seen nice sockets for a flatscreens yet. But I will keep it in mind.

The DELL looks promising, I had always good experience with DELL panels in the office but never tried playing on them. I will need to read more reviews of this panel, but the reviews I already read are not too good regarding input lag and responsiveness. Sad Were you able to play on this panel?

120Hz sounds promising and Mircwar also suggested to pick a 120Hz panel. Happy Is this panel adjustable in height? Couldn't read anything about it in the spec.
