and as i remember good (or not) q3mme will give you avi file with sound from quake so it is probably best and easy(userfriendly) solution

To record raw gameplay, as Skull said, it always do lag, fps drops and shit videos BUT :
As you should know, you can't record Diablo 3 videos with Q3MME and there is no moviemaking software for this game.
So, I searched something to record pretty good videos for it and I FOUND IT.
A software without any lag when recording while playing the game, does it exist?
It's called "Mirillis Action!", very underrated. I tried it and was very surprised that when people said it doesn't cause any fps drop or lag, like FRAPS for example, it DOESN'T.
To show it, I'll upload a quick video done with this software. Anyway, with this software, you'll not have effects like blur and so for your video.

Hey. Haven't done much since the last time in terms of tries or researches, but decided to do so these days since I have more free time. As first step, I decided to eliminate the 'live recording' process with recording a demo instead using the same steps, so I can see the difference myself. Making more changes in the same time will cause unavailability to determine which change caused which improvement. So.. I made a demo last night, same server, ERA DM17, short game vs bots. I deliberately made no changes in the next steps, only this time I used different program for compression and changing the format from avi to mp4 (software : Avidemux).
After making the demo, I recorded it with Bandicam, compressed the avi to mp4 and uploaded it on youtube.
The result and improvements : Unlike recording live gameplay, recording the demo instead caused no sound quality loss, that's the best gain. Unfortunately, there is still slight FPS drop in the video, it is not quite smooth and it has glitches at times. But still, abit better than the first time 
Next time I will try to use Q3MME, but will have to spend some time on tutorials and practice.
So, the result : (it is my POV with my actual cfg; use HQ for better quality, the default is awful )

That's what you need to do a solid movie (sure, you can't do a shit without MME, all the rest are about effects and quality)

I will try that option, recording demo with fraps and i'll compare the two videos. 1.16? Ah, that sounds too complicated. And I'll have to research abit through q3mme forums to get along with it. tnx Sam.
Simple recording of my gameplay in the exact way I see it on my monitor.
Explanation level 700. After reading all you've said, the famous Socrates' quote stroke me : "All I know is that I know nothing".
But it seems interesting so that wouldn't be a problem. I'm sure your answers will be a nice and very helpful guide to reaching a decent level in making Q3 gameplay videos. I hope that in few months I'll be even able to make some short video of gameplay, with edits and effects and all... but that's another story I guess. First things first. Tnx for detailed answers and explanations m8, I'll try to make a new video following the stuff you've said.
