Paranoid delusions. One server can't satisfy everybody. Even 3 servers won't.
Moreover, you have absolutely no rights same as Asphyx to take such a decisions. If you wanna rent server and allow everybody to play on it, feel free, but when you try to rent a server and force everybody to play there - fuck you both. XD

It could have been a good idea if we had no server, but nowadays there are already several servers running for e+.
If you find the money for the rent, then rent a server, name it e+ server or whatever, but it doesn't have to be named OFFICIAL server, and it shouldn't be the only one where people are allowed to play cw (even if 3 or 4 official servers).
I do hate the OFFICIAL thing. And I don't see the point in having an official server where people must play cw. If I don't trust a server I don't play there (but I have no trust issue so it hasn't happened yet). Just because it's named official server doesn't make it trustable btw.
And:
- What about people who have bad ping there due to router/provider? but good ping at, let's say 3m server.
- Everytime I had to play on this so-called official servers we spent time setting it properly. So, considering how official servers are still having wrong settings although the event is almost over, it seems complicated to have one able to run each cfg and well set for all of them, and this depending on the specifications of each event. Or you will need people who cares in charge, wich leads to ->
- Who will manage it? the ones who pay + clan leaders? If yes, well, Good luck with 50 people wanting to give their 2 cents because they gave 1€ and the 30 clan leaders who are allowed to speak since it's official server.
Personally i will keep my money for MR server, but I'm sure there are people who validate this idea.

i guess noone will be needed to be force to play on pure and well ac server.. or maybe true, some will be hiding to play on that server for sure

Whats paranoid about having official E+ servers powered by the community ?
I dont know where you lost your eyesight to, but clearly this is no anarchy but only a question to have a general place where to play CW wich is not dictated by a clan... nor people like you
What i offer to the community is simple,
Pay and have a server where you all can play on and its not a place of dictation.
I give ref passwords to all clan leaders, ref+ team and all who pays for the server.
Its not controlled by a dictator nor there will be anarchy on the server.
A public forum will be started where EVERY player can make topics about questions and suggestions towards these servers.
Anymore doubts about this QUESTION / IDEA ! feel free to ask them and you will be answered !

It would only be named Official e+ war server because its payed BY the community ( IF enough people support this )
I could also change the name into "Community war server" without the "official"...
The name is no problem, maybe "official" shouldnt be there as i see it scares certain people 
so forget about the name and look closer to this idea...
+ i'm not forcing and saying people would only need to play on those servers, those are words you are forcing upon me.
About the routing and other servers, i'm NOT saying those servers should be deleted, i'm NOT saying we should NOT play there, its again a wrong interpretation from your side.
The thing is as it will be for the community we can make commands for excecuting settings.
example:
/exec TDM - /exec TAG - /exec CTF
Not like we all are doing now,
/ref g_gametype 1 - 3 - 4 - 8 /ref map_restart
/ref exec pbon - /ref exec pboff - /ref pureon - /ref pureoff
Simply keep it to /exec cw ( pb + pure on ) - /exec fw ( pb off )
I would make a whole list in public of what you can do with those servers in /ref
All is more simple as you make it for yourself or atleast on how you are discribing it now...
As for the management, we dont really need to, else i can volunteer to make sure the server restarts every day and have acces to the server logs when needed...

This server can only be intersted for a clanless people or people without clan server.
With the other words you want to rent a server and need a donation support from the rest, but as far as there are 3 servers only on plusN side (Mr, ZMB, c4) - where every plusN clan can easly arrange any game they want (because admins easy allow them) - that idea is useless. What they need to donate for - if they already having places to play? And nowho nohow dictates them any conditions and time when they can play.I was renting a server for 2 years and haven't changed ref password for a single time. Everybody was welcome to join and arrange any games on any configs they want.

clan servers for practice and FWs.
official servers for CWs FWs and practice - always turned on PURE and PB
clan servers are conducive to for cheating and will be protected by cheaters.
official servers with always pb will result in less cry for "PB lag". for what players plays fws without PB and later cry at CW for PB!? start to play all the time with it and stop doind that 
just get accustomed to it.
official servers without acces to it from third part persons will result in more secure/safety.
only problem will be queue. i guess it can be solved via pickup module what was (or is) at e+ site.
2 max 3 clanwar servers and 1 server for 1v1 will be enought i guess.
how should look queue system?
Clan A and Clan B want CW 4v4 at 19:25
they come before 19:25 to e+ site. click start CW game. invite clanmates. clanmates accept it, game is 90% ready. now all from ref+ team should have special privileges like possibility to accept CW in that module
game is ready, visable near to shoutbox as 19:25 [clan a] vs [clan b] @ server #2 ref: random+
every1 see that some clan have there at that time CW.
or simpler ref+ should made scheme thread about CW in right section and in topic write: 19:25 [clan a] vs [clan b] @ server #2 ref: random+.
after ended CW he should recive from winner clan message what he will copy paste into thread.
edit: minimum one server should be from other hosting / location to eliminate crazy high ping issue.
edit2: for what clan makes own servers? for have place where to practice in most situations. official ranked games should be done only at "certificated servers"

Its true that this can only interest in people who dont have a clanserver.
It also interest people who dont trust certain servers anymore.
It can also interest people who need a server for events.
There are no other words that i need to have a server and a donation support etc. its bullshit, i have enough money to rent my own root xd
Its simply a server( s ) for this community that can be used as extra server( s ) or used for events ( wich currently are beeing donated and also have costs to the owner wich he might not do anymore in the future )
Not everyone knows how to change stuff on mr server
Not everyone knows how to enable pure on c4 server
Appearently ZMB server has some error with overkill wich luckely appeard when you where loosing the CW very hard xd

There are currently 2 users and 27 guests online.
As i said, only €27,- per month = 3 servers times 12 month = €324,-
I dont really think we can gather that money in 1 month ( or we have some secret millionair here ? ) so yea, if there are people who could miss some money for this project, they are welcome to donate, after this poll ends ( 7 day poll )
As for the queueing for CW or 1 V 1, depending on the amount of money we gather the more servers we can setup.
After the TDML 2012 is over take in mind we only have 2 other servers left for CW !
