Which graphics card would you recommend?

its not bad, but more expensive as gainward for example.
and u get much software crap .. demos, tools, old games, etc. i dont need that but u pay for it when u guy that grafic card!

but at last, what u get is importand - if u get msi is 2 days and gainward in 2 weeks. choose the other Happy

what a 6600gt from gainward cost 160 € - that is ca 160$ ... (agp or pci-ex)
and of course a 5000 series is old, maybe a 5900 is ok

make sure:
dx 9c support
256 bit performance
DDR2/3 ram
( that support the ati 9600xt and 9800 and higher or nv 5900xt and higher)

I would take Gainward,I dont say MSI is bad,but Gainward is mostly concentrated on making graphics cards while MSI makes almost everything.I have a MSI motherboard and its really ok,I got it very cheap and Im still surprised how stable it is...I had a MSI cd burner and it died on me,so I will never take another optical device from them...and graphic card i never had from them,but some friends had problems with their MSI cards...I would stick to Gainward Big grin
