Which graphics card would you recommend?

I am buying a new graphics card as the one I am using now (GeForce 128mb) is faulty (fan don't spin), but still works, but I think it stops me playing most games like Q3, so I want to ask you guys on which graphics card would be good for games and is well recommended.

These are the choices I have -

GeForce FX5200 128MB DDR PCI D
GeForce 6600GT 128MB PCI-E DVI

Radeon 9800SE 256MB AGP DVI VO
Radeon 9800SE 256MB AGP DVI VO
Radeon X300 256MB PCI-E DVI-I
Radeon X800GT 256Mb GDDR3 PCIE
Radeon 9600XT 128MB AGP DVI-I

Which graphics card would you recommend?

Any of the Nvidias instead of the atis I've used both brands and believe me Nvidia owns Ati.

GeForce 6600GT.

I myself currently use a ASUS Extreme N6600GT PCI-E.

Bättre pissa i stuprännan än stupa i pissrännan !

there is no great difference in performing by ati or nvidia.
i mean to have 5000 points or 5200 points in 3dmark take no matter is my eyes Happy

two questions first:
1. what mainboard do u have - special the chipset ?
2. do u remember a high end grafic card need a new power supply (special pins and high power is needed)

so i would choose the 6600GT of couse with PCIEx or maybe the 6800GT (u can run both in SLI modus)

the nv5200, ati9800,9600,x300 are old models and out of date.

the x800gt and nv7800 are to much expensive atm.

And 6800GT can be softmoded to Quadrojust a plus for me as I uuse that for 3 modelling and moving large amount of polys is important.

im an ati user nd never had any problems. my brother uses nvidia and constantly has issues...

and best of all my motherboard is nf7. and no issues ever showed up.

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!
