.. yea ok well certainly there are people that have been in this mod more then others.....and RFT Winking may have been popular in the past....

maybe some one can put a server or 2 up to see if it cant get a revival,
and maybe it can be popular enough again to warrant a league

...and for the record....i would play quake poker...if it was real and there was a league for it....
the people(well 99 % of them) in this mod are the best...and its all about the fun :....-)

.....but FREEZE !! Big grin

imo Tdm sucks becuse off :

moust players here dunno what team play is..evrybody are trying to get maxscore, be the best & show how much they dominate Happy well that sucks..

Tactis in freez are exelnt if u know u team & how team play looks like Happy
thing that i dident never see on freez server is that when u unfreez somebody, somebody else cover's u ass ! did u see somebody doing that? I really dident....

in u'r team when freez is played..u have to have good sniker(man who will unfreez evrybody) , good shoters, not solo player's, becuse one person can't shot two or more oponets if they know how to play...so sollo play is out in freez...

so really think that freez is much more TEAM (coming from TEAM DEATHMECH) game then tdm...

what i wan to say is :

in FREEZ u must have more then one skill... u cant be only exelent shooter...becuse if u left alone...u cant shot evrybody Happy :!: u must tactic!
if u'r left alone...& there are three more oponets...u can think how to shoot them..u have to thaw u team! Happy

first of all - wax - as its clearly visible watching poll results - what r u saying is just a half of true - "most of ppl likes freeze mote than ..." ... well I can see just 2 more freeze fanatics than tdm freaks.

Well ... I do not like tdm either but as there was just a choice between deathmatch (yes thats whats tdm in freeze - perhaps using bro9 cfg would change it a little) and cs-like gametype .... well I choose tdm. If I wanted to play cs ... huh ... I would play it.

Freeze has the most "loyal" players, which means that there are always someone there playing, i.e the guys that have been here the most and play the most. The majority of people if you count numbers I am sure enjoy RTF or TDM more or equally much. Since there are these "loyal" Freeze players online always freeze servers are always populated which means it drags people in even if they like TDM or FFA better (fun to play on empty server?). Also, most of the "oldies" in e+ like Freeze so if you wanna play with your old "friends" you have to play freeze wether you like it or not. I played a LOT of freeze although I hated it because the servers always had a few players on them and I was too lazy to switch later.

And the poll... the poll gets votes from the most active players in the community, but not the ones that just play, there are lots of clanpeople that never even visited these forums.. The ones that do are the "oldies" and as I said earlier, most of the people that like freeze are "oldies".

Even if i do not favour Freeze i would not use the word boring to make my point. Slow is more appropriate Happy

But as an insider i know most of the newer clans wants TDM in this league. Actually, so far 100% of all registrations made the right way (mail and with suggestion of gametype) have proposed TDM!

Yes, there has been a league in TDM be4, but this time there are 9 clans registered and only 2 of them (GenX and WASP) also participated last time!
Notice GenX is one of the clans that favor TDM (infront of Freeze). I'm not sure of which WASP favour.

A new poll and with RTF as an option would surely look very different now too!

I should of corse solved the gametype issue too before registration begun. I didnt realize this was such big of a deal! This is my misstake :oops:
Fun and fair was and is as always the main goals!

First a nice and clean TDM, then another round in another gametype...

9 clans equals 36 games!
Would you really miss out on this coz it might not be the gametype YOU want the most?
I know I wouldn't Big grin
