When you beat the first level in the second and others, it won't happen again. You can thus equip what the level offers and this will make further progress in the game easier. You can try it. The game requires DOOM2.wad files from Doom II Hell on Earth. It is on networks like steam and gog and also free as abandonware. Then it uses DoomIImetalost.wad with metal music added to the game and brutaldoom version brutalv21.pk3 . These files are required. DOOM2.wad , DoomIImetalost.wad and brutalv21.pk3 . Doomseeker can find them and add them to the folder with DOOM2.wad where you have the game. All are available for free as abandonware or buy it somewhere, I wouldn't even buy it when it's been freeware for years.
