I fear the same as you Trance, deep water.I can swim as long as I know I can stand on the bottom. If i can't feel the bottom I start to panic and can't swim at all .

I also have a big fear for rats and mice ,I can't even look at them on a pic .
hehe I guess I will have nightmares tonight ,about rats when i have think of it .

my biggest fear is fire, i like watching to it, but i very fear it, dunno why, but i fear fire almost all my live

other big fear is dogs, cos i have very bad memorys from about 4-6 years old. now i dont fear dogs at the day, but i fear it at night, few years ago i feared it at day and night

I dislike somehow bugs, cause they always are narrow on biting me! while there are plenty of targets around..
Sharks? umm... i think if i see a shark in water (not in a zoo) then i will swim/run 1000mph...
