For those who don't get (seems many):

English is commonly accepted as a worldwide standard for international communication. You might like it or not but that's the way it is. And it doesn't matter if someone is a native Eng speaker. So it's a common sense to ask for people to use that international standard on international servers. It's like that so that everyone can understand each other, not only to avoid abuse.

That's the reason for such rule here on E+ forums, and why it's applied on major servers. Can't believe sucha common sense rule needs attention at all. Guess ppl just wanna pump the post number, or just being a wee bit messed.

And to be quite honest, perhaps some of them should find new parents cause current didn't raise 'em well..

ozy, man, with due respect, u said already all in ur post: english is common lnaguage, thank God we have some common language, but as you said its a international serrvers (INTERNATIONAL) so i guess there will be some citizens from different countries some of them speak well english some of them not so well. but we have dictionaries, thats not a problem to find meaning words during the game, translate it and after 2 minutes say something to all, right? ok, we can live with that.
but as we can imagine - 2 ppl from poland, or 3 ppl from spain, or 6 ppl from russia would like to speak something to eatch other in their native language - i bet they would like to do that on general chat if the situation need to make a quick talk like: watch out for the 2 guys cause theyre coming at yellow armour, game was awesome or i must got o toilet i ll be right back, etc. so to be ok with the rule - you cant speak that in your own language in general chat - but u dont speak it at all or you need some time first to make pms (during the game) than u can simply say something to your mate.
1. its absurd, abuse, discirmination.
2. its any fun in that - cause you guys gonna to play in silence (do not fool ourselfs, who has time and willing to communicate in pms on the map oO), and if you even wnat to communicate 3 minutes could take the making pms
3. such rule smells awfull
4. quake its not only the shooting and running over the map - its also some conversation and 1+1 gives some fun.

aah yes, its their own server, they pay for that some € - hmm - whats the price list for speaking native languages in general chat? 1-2€/day? whats the phone numbers to get sms code with access to general chat in free language? i would like to pay for a pleasure to speak something in my language.

i would forget: i give a shit on the post numbers - as you can see i joined almost 2 years ago and since that time i havent been very chatty, but u know what - i started to be when i saw some bad habits here and some other 'rules' makes me to talk. maybe u would like to provide next rule - 'more than 50 posts per month is not allowed' 'more than 100 its already obvious spamming and willing to win 'the posts number contest on e+'

at the end: whats up with the parents? i dont understand it - you mean that my parents didn;t rise me well cause im asking for the right to speak in free language? hm, please explain.

unfortunatelly yes, but im cureently almost off about that it so damn tiring.
already heard all arguments (€ admins rule gtfo from server if u dont like it etc.) and still i cant agree, but never mind. it took to much time to wrote all those posts. so at the end take care with ur rule hope it will help you.
