@bert: you are right, but 800 ram is enauth. just choose 2:1 and you can overclock like u want. i have fsb 1800 with ddr 800 ram (@900 mhz), its no problem. without oc ram, i can do 1600 mhz fsb or 3200 mhz with this high-fsb prozessor (small multi)

and mow, no, i dont interrest for loadtime in games, and this loadtime isn effected much from the ram

yea, it has nothing to do with game performance if the load time of a q3-map does take 3 secs or 12 secs.

stop to speak against urself

(example: my system just with different types of ram, 1 gig 8 secs, 3 gig 2 secs to load to next map at q3 at e+)

what fsb Oo u broke almost 2.5 times world fsb record
second tell me oc master how get fsb higher than 400mhz with mem which wont run faster than 400mhz (800 as ddr) on intel platform.

not every ddr 800 mems will have high oc, some wont work as ddr 820 or some like for example polish goodram have great oc potential 667 or 800 on microns d9 work fine on as 1140

Anyway to broke his sb talking and all idiotic myths:
- on intel platforms is imosible run fsb higher than ram. minimal is 1:1 (fsb to ram)
- asynchro ratio for example 4:5 is faster than 1:1
example time from super pi
4:5 - 06'33.500 - E6300 @3500MHz(7x500) ram: 600MHz 5-5-5-15-2T
1:1 - 06'54.907 - E6300 @3430MHz(7x490) ram: 490MHz 5-5-5-15-2T

@mow: sure, bad ram needs 12 seconds and good ram 3,
we are talking about maybe 0.5 seconds more loadtime so dont tell shit plz kthxbye
and by the way: we dont talk about 1gb, 2gb or 4gb ram, we talk about the ram type.

@flex: lol. i talk about 1800 mhz effective fsb. ever heard of quadpumped? the fsb ist 450. and bad 800 ram makes 800 mhz so u can make 3.2 ghz with a multi of 8, thats much. E2160 has a higher multi as far i know. what i want to say is, then you can overclock even with 800 mhz ram on 1:1 up to 3-3.4 ghz.

and lol, good examples. sure is asynchron faster because the ram runs on higher frequence, omg: with otrher words: this has nothing to do with 1:1 or 4:5, it has to do with the ram frequency itself

for sure superpi is faster with a faster cpu and faster ram ;D

if you have a missunderstanding dont say me i speak agains myself etc.
and by the way: 1 gb ram with vista is not really much, that may cause this huuuuuge loadtime icrease with 8 gb ram. i THINK with xp 2 or 4 gb ram doesnt have much effect.
