i never had a problem with 5l and sweaty hands, u just play and it works perfect. (sure after some time the 5l gots brighter and brighter

seems the price is just to expensive

i think everybody who has it agrees that its one of if not the best pad on the market.

lol i have mx518 and all i use is a cheapy blue pad from wal-mart and i have no problems

I have the same problem with icemat 
Using:
- Mouse: Logitech mx510 + miceskatez
- Mousepad: Icemat
- Headphones: Icemat Siberia

its probably because glass condenses moisture very easily so u r possibly not sweating much it just seems like more cause a cloth/rubber mat absorbs more
