the best mousepad is maded with the skin of the balls of a rare indian viper called Echis carinatus (http://www.indiansnakes.org/Snakedatabase/Vipers/Sawscaled/saw_scaled_viper.html) you need 200 balls skin to make it and its very expensive but then washability is perfect and sensor never skip

You should look at your attitude as you are starting to look like him. Rapha is sponsored by steelseries and Cooler is using goliathus speed as he is sponsored by razer.

20cm/360 is definitely mid-sens.
weird that you get different values for 360 and 180 degrees, try turning the accel off while testing.

btw Logitech G3 uses a 2000dpi laser sensor and can be found on ebay for around 30 euros, which is quite cheap. the shape and size are about the same as the mouse you liked in the past.

about the Xai i don't really know, never tried one myself, but i always read positive feedbacks on this mouse
(maybe except for some acceleration issues ON CLOTH PADS)
i guess the adns 9500 got a kind of "built in" acceleration ON SOME PADS (not on glass pads from what i read) that you can't disable except if you try and mess with firmware which maybe voids the warranty, anyways it's a great mouse

i'd advise you to either try a small basic-shaped mouse using an adns 9500 sensor on an icemat glass pad, either get a Logitech G1 which is cheap and rock-solid (800dpi would be fairly enough with your sens, but it also depends on your resolution and shits) but that's just my point

(with a 20cm sensitivity you can use a cloth pad tbh, at that point the main sensor is still in your head and any decent sensor will do just fine)

ps: qck heavy is bulletproof Smug unless you're a pig with your hardware it will last for years

hmm, i work in my own leather factory, we make belts, wallets n other stuff...never had the idea of balls skin, i'll check how many belts i can make with mine...bored as i am now with this work there will be lot of skin i guess lol
btw i see many interesting answers that make much more light in this darkness, i'll read better after work when i'll be finally relaxed.

I am quite satisfied with my idiocy, and my idiocy tells me qck is a crap

- because infrared sensors skips on this surface
- because it wears off on the borders quickly
- because it deforms when yours hands sweating
- because it changes abilities quickly after some sweat and dirt get in the structure and it cannot be fully washed

qck is exactly the same quality as a4tech cloth pads with the difference that the a4tech is 6 times cheaper

and many ppl around using XAI or RAT but it doesn't change a fact those still are crappy products

the cloth pad that gets actually many positive feedback is razer goliathus speed or puretrak talent

the calculator helps to calculate a proper per pixel precision, but of course that's not the max u can get
for yours settings its around 13cm/360*

its in short for fov 90
3,14*1920px=6028,8px
13cm/2,54=5,11"
5,11"*1800cpi=9212,6cp

9212,6cpi > 6028,8px = good precision

Wait, since I have my MX518 and a Steelseries QcK Heavy, I never have a "sensor skip". The infrared sensor DOESN'T skip on a QcK (never!), where you found this idea? And I know what I'm talking about. I had many fucking "sensor skip" (I call this shit a "laser drop") with the (fucking junk) Razer Imperator as mouse, or with the Roccat Sota as mousepad (this last mousepad was good but lasts only two weeks, after you got scratch on and it makes laser drops). Now, I have forgotten this anomaly. And the Steelseries QcK (Heavy) is lifelong! Just washed it sometimes in the washing machine with cold water and it's like a new one, even with all drinks or food I put on. I dont want to buy A4Tech stuff from Taiwan, that lasts one month, like new Razer products.

edit : I found it for 23€ in France.

firs off qck is not qck heavy that's two different mouse pads

secundo mx518 uses RED light not infraRED light witch is used in mices like deathadder salmosa abyssus diamondback 3g krait and some more

where i got the idea from? from my own experience my friend Winking
