Did u seen pk3 crosshair (unstandard green/red one) ? U can make it in this way then put unto ur baseq3 folder. It will be easier just get pk3 crosshair & edit it Big grin but i dont have this one, u dont need to edit ur "main" pk3 files with it. Btw why do u need black crosshair its not too visible i think Winking

atm im playing with green and most maps are red/orange/grey, black works well id imagine if you have r_fastsky set to default

cg_crosshairhealth "0"
xp_crosshaircolor "2"

1 = blue
2 = green...

use green instead + green enemycolors 2222 ... when your crosshair disappears fire ! Happy

yeah same as what i use, also you always see the crosshair on maps that colour

My *opinion*

Scripting weaponchanges to abuse bugs is cheating. Like the rail to rail weaponswitch script. You were not supposed to be able to shoot a rail that often but if you abused a bug in 1.02 you could. IMO = Clearly cheating.

Modding pk3 files.. Well, to change crosshaircolors or enemycolors I dont care much, changing sound volume is kinda lame though. How do you distinguish between what pk3 mods are lame and which are not? Better to say that modding pk3 files is "Cheating" just because there is so much you can do to give you an unfair advantage.

Just regular weaponchange binds? Cheating? Why???

If someone prefers to have less buttons to worry about why not let him? It still takes skill to cycle them perfectly instead of using one button/weap?

If you have scripts that fire for you then I think its kinda lame.. Happy
