well... i never saw a prog from pinacle that is usefull (is there any1???)

transitions are one of the most important things... dunno how much time u will spend in making transitions
usually i make a little clip with a tranition (using pics from ps or so), than is easy to fade in and out this transition or simply put it on a new line
otherwise is possible to make flash animations (there are also pages in the net with a thousend of frash transitions - use google ), in magix video deluxe and electronica is than possible to use this swf files in the movie as whatever u like (clip or transition).

i have also spend much time in crating transitions... i think the way to become a pool of transitions are the flashs. For good, own and szene conform switching i´ll advice the way with a own clip from some pics (but this will need MUCH time )
