Quake III Arena... on Steam??

why should i ask support? It is no mistake. It is simply not available for Germany. It is intention. And i wont make a big job out of it, to buy i game i already have as original (Gold Edition)

Just wished to c, what is different by steamdelivered Q3 in filesystem.

VAC is peace of shit.. i didnt know anythink better then cheating-death while its work. i play cs 1.5 and 1.6 5 years and leave it cos its to many cheaters around in cs...

lmao Rage u paid 71 dollars and only got back problems? Mow encountered problems as well as u can see. This just proves my previous point, that STEAM still is a pile of shit...great idea in theory tho.

As for your problem Rage sry but i cant help u since i activated the games on steam using the cd-key i had from the original cd i bought in the store. But im sure they explain the full procedure somewhere, maybe try support forums as TD suggested.

there is no such thing as the "perfect" anti-cheat tool, and there will never be one. But Cheating Death was FAR more competent against cheats than VAC (which Valve stopped updating when CS:S was released whereas Cheating Death had constant updates annihilating the most virulent hacks out there).

Trance, I do not have any problem with Steam, Steam has problems with the German right system, that is the reason why I can not receive Q3 from Steam. I don't have any reason to complain about Steam.

Rage, you will not receive any CD of Steam, you get the games from Steam exclusively as download. You receive all necessary information from Steam.

Btw Rage, the next ID game is about you Happy

hmm since this steam doesnt have any folders for the games, its all integrated into one folder (STEAM)
i dont think i will be able to make any other mods onto the games i have or add custom maps so theres no E+ for it Sad
