there are lots of nice custom maps why always go for remakes that were played 35235235 times

Because the originals offer excellent gameplay. They provide a benchmark for the map making community. That's not to say custom maps aren't good... as you said, there are many good custom maps. How about you suggest a few that in your opinion offer similar quality to the standard maps?

I didnt say ONLY remakes...the edge was a legendary map and yes,we played it a zillion times but I surely havent played it in e+ mod with the ppl I know from arround here.Thats the whole point...I said we need new maps,and I'm hoping that the edge will become one of those But I would really like to hear from the server owners/admins...to state their opinion.

If anyone finds the Q3 version of Aerowalk (that fucking badass Q2 tourney map) -- I think it's called Hubster's Aerowalk Remix -- let me know. That would be a badass map for E+ tourney.
