Overbounce Heights

Hi all,

I dunno if someone can help me, but I'm searching for overbounces different heights to perform it easier.
Anyone knows a few? I'm wondering too if there is a link between those heights.

overbounces are a lot more complicated then that, best example for that is the simple plasma damage ob.

use a defrag overbounce detector.

Thanks for the reply.

Defrag overbounce detector doesnt work in e+, so to detect overbounces more easily and perform it with plasma (for example to climb pillars, on dm6, or something else more quickly), I thought about the heights. Confused

E+ physics ain't stable enough for solid overbounces.

Our physics are rock solid. Please keep in mind that we disabled most OBs during casual gameplay (the next release does catch some more), as it can be disturbing to "unexpectedly" bounce back and be an easy target for your opponents.

To enable OBs again, just set the minimal required settings for trick maps as known from Defrag (pmove_fixed 1, pmove_msec 8, pmove_accurate 0, sv_fps 125, g_speed 320, g_gravity 800 etc.)

sry easy, but I trust cgaz on his oppinion, eventhough I should ask him if its still same on new e+.

Its a bit digging up the subject but I can explain what I meant, now I'm mastering the technique.
I meant know overbounce heights like that, using it usually to gain time.


In DeFRaG, it helps me often to gain more time when there is plasma climbing.
Moreover maps like Q3DM6 seems to be made for overbounces.
