I want to get better GFX but i don't know what buy, so I’m asking u guys to help me out make the choice

it's going to be comparison based on ioquake3 and quake3 engines, as I want to play with Anti-Aliasing x8 and Anisotropic x16 {AA:4 and Anisotropic:8 is enought good} only! the test should be run with these options ON

it's going to be only these q3 engines because i do not playing any other game than that, and I want stable 333fps for NoGhost competitions

1. restart quake to default settings || SETUP -> DEFAULTS
2. set quake in setup for high quality || SETUP -> SYSTEM -> Graphics Settings -> High Quality -> accept
3. /timedemo 1
4. /demo four {u need running quake without any mod}

scores for: || cpu : AM2 1x2.2GHz || ram : 4GB 1000Hz || gfx : HD4850 ||

ioquake3 -> XP SP3 -> 228fps
quake3 -> XP SP3 -> 275fps

ioquake3 -> VISTA x64 SP1 -> 200fps
quake3 -> VISTA x64 SP1 -> 270fps
