i can imagine that this will produce too many games though.
how about 2 group stages, 1st tag (or tdm), last place falls out, 2nd tdm (or tag). would at least save 1 game 
guess its not the best idea.
how about you choose one of the gametypes for the groupstage and let the tiemap be the other. example: tag war with tdm tiemap
or if you choose to play both types equally in the groupstage (=8 matches), which would be the fairest but also longest, you should allow the teams to play both wars both on the same date or seperately. its a lot easier for me to keep one evening completely free than 2 evenings a little free but i guess others would prefer it the other way. so if you could open both options i personally would be fine with it.

Wait... Why you need to think so difficult? Again we had examples in the past. Just let teams during the match choose map and gametype themselfs. In case of tie, for game type would be same rules as for map. Simple.
PS. Lithuania is ready to play as much games as needed. More games more fun.

I'm personnaly up for 2 groups 
Maybe postpone the starting date of the cup? otherwise let's start but i hope rules won't be changed after starting

We can make it league-looking with 2 groups. 2 best from the group are going to FINALS.
Group 1
Hungary
France
Lithuania
Turkey
Belarus
Group 2
Russia
Sweden
Germany
United Kingdom

Each team has to play 8 games in the groupstage (4-TDM, 4-TAG)

Or we just hold it as it is. You pick, I don't care what of given examples I have to manage.
