Mouse Problem

In my experience, it's always, always the cable, 9 times out of 10 where it enters the mouse itself. If you are any good with a soldering iron, open the mouse up hack off about 5 cm of cable and reconnect it.

The plug out connection is the clue... Doesnt sound like a software issue.

Lol I got exactly the same problem, but mouse is diamondback and its working ALMOST fine at my brother's PC, its turning off only when PC is starting and then working fine, but at my PC same as you said, sometime dieing 2 times per 10 sek, sometimes working 10min. I think it may be something with USB ports or PSU.
