btw newest bug, pummel activation is based on clientview, you can't pummel people by bfg jumping. also movementprediction of client is fucked when someone stands in the way.

kinda like 50 players are suffering from bad implementation, and less
then a half dozen whs. wouldn't it be better to just turn it on on

I didnt saw a single complaint about anti-wh being ON, because nobody even notice it being ON on that rus rail freeze server, I even thought once when I joined the server that the anti-wh was disabled, it doesnt bother me, even more, I got more feeling now that the game is fair to anyone, no cheating faggots around with their WH.

about your @edit: I think you will not find anything in that sources as Violence told me his modifications are keep in a compiled binary code once I asked him where can I seek for the version code @ "ioq3 1.36 (viol v1.1dev)" to be able to edit it. Thats why I stopped to looking at this source files, as he probably just posted open source ioquake3 codes and not his own modifications he applied to it by his own.

Those are the severe consequences of having that anti-wh feature as for now, it has to be fixed in the future to make more 'fair' gameplay, no sound needs to be fixed as well as the range radius to reduce the 'suddenly popping up models' in front of you.

Those are the severe consequences of having that anti-wh feature as for now, it has to be fixed in the future to make more 'fair' gameplay, no sound needs to be fixed as well as the range radius to reduce the 'suddenly popping up models' in front of you.

Seems you are lacking skill and ping. I notice it in ANY fight I do. Try higher ping (cl_timenudge 30 maybe?) and the effect increase. Means the fix needs to be ping related anyways.
In fact, I guess if we adapt all kind of Fixes to it, we end up having normal netcode at the end anyways, making such stuff player specific or as suggested, voteable would combine both, antiwh and playability.

+1 to sql , it's way more than noticeable , every time you're entering a hallway or door-way , goddamn , you just can't handicap all the ppl just coz 1 or 2 are cheating , or u think they are , fuckin ethics man.

You must be kidding that no one noticed. It's just pointless to complain to blind admins who don't fix stuff and majority doesn't get it, ignores or accepts as it is like a bunch of lemmings anyways. No idea about other people with their ping (hence not gonna jump to some cynic idea yet) but we noticed it after 2-3 minutes of playing. Some pop-ups almost like in a GTA game with tripping ghost sounds. Makes freeze rather randomly unfair (not that freeze is already random) by screwing your senses/relfex and gives advantage to campers around corners, also cause you can't hear the sound.

I meant on the time when I was playing, the first hours within it was implemented on the server and later days including this one, nobody is talking on the server about it, nobody is whining, complaining about this at all, at least I didnt noticed anything like that, I keep hearing only here the discussion about that.
It is beta version, it needs to be tweaked we all know that, but the gameplay is not so much f@cked up that you cannot play on it at all, it is rather interesting for me, more challenge and I know about the campers, I've seen them, just waiting for someone to come in their sight.

I got question to you skull, because you got an working wallhack cheat on your computer, so tell me did you tested it on that server to check if its useless or still can do any advantages ?

That lag issue on rus rail . is fault of that Anti-Wh.

I deleted all of those due to restructuring my hd and no need of them. I know the way they are working and anything a Wallhack does can be done with methods in q3mme or via /wallhack2.

The advantage you still get is if you work the corners, even if just the slightliest hitbox can be seenable a person is still displayed through walls. Same with sounds and the soundhack. The advantage isn't good, but its possible.

I did saw and felt this also, I think its related to what ping/lag got other players from the enemy team, because sometimes its barely noticable and other time or map its insane when some of them just popup on your screen, I've seen that on my own games and when my brother pjax played.

So if its related to ping delay, I got a solution, all EU players can go on my server with better ping

We recently switched from broken connection to a new one fixed, stable ping, no packet loss, lets see how the gameplay would be on such lower pings!
