sry to interupt you guys but this thread gets more and more boring (for me at least).
Just simple things: + team choose moderators, they are the only ones that will take any decision conscerning moderation policy.

You can talk hours and hours about how moderating a forum the point is moderators have to be TRANSPARENT, it's the key word that already someone had used in this thread. Then mods act as they want wether they are transparent. They should not even reply to complains and accusations, if + team not happy they are smart enough to change them or do whatever they want.

Of course! I never said i treat each and every insult the same, it all depends on the situation, context, people involved et cetera. I would be an idiot, for example, if i gave a formal warning and would delete posts of people who just pull each others legs and i know they are friends.

Just to clear things up, i was refering only to serious insults, those that are meant to hurt the reciever, with no friendly intent whatsoever.

But you should know, that people differ in their reception to such words. One guy can just shrug and ignore the offender, one can try and turn it all into a joke, and another will treat it all dead-serious and will retort in a similiarly offensive way. With my role as someone who should keep the peace, i have only my own knowledge of people involved to go upon. Fortunately, E+ has a relatively small community, so there shouldnt be any problems about "non-serious" flames being treated as "serious" by me.

Huh? What do you mean? We're exchanging arguments, and are introducing each other to our points of view, at least, that's how i feel about this conversation. I never said my stand-point is set in stone, nor did Bo said so. Also, if YOU'D take care to read each post carefully you would notice that me and Torz both said that we should "agree to disagree", regarding to Bo's points.

Oh, and also, that i dont agree with something dosent mean i dont understand it.

All that considered, i dont really know what you're on about. And i dont want to point fingers and say who recently locked threads just because other people disagreed with him..

Anyway, Bodz is right. I made my points clear enough, no need to start doing circles here.
