Re: Rail lag.

You were talking about unlagged rail. It is unrelated to BFG.

If you have seen the projectile, it means server had created it (projectiles are not drawn instantly). Thats why it can not just disappear.

Re: Rail lag.

well, we experienced missing stuff all the time anyways so what?
we have sounds missing sometimes?
we have rail through?
we have rail disappearing?

so why not a missing bfg? I didn't experience it myself imo (since I don't use much bfg) but maybe server drops information due to a overflow? Not that I would understand anything about the way e+ is coded, but a general drop of information by the server could explain all this? Big grin

To precise what I mean. It's like two players are shooting to them self with rail, and reaction time between both shots are few ms, both see rail projectle, but only one die.

I would say it is what the hard restless playing leads to. I do not believe in BIG amount of time, because you are able to switch point of view just after you got killed, and your game receives new POV along with your death or a time after it, but not before. So you can not see yourself alive (but you may see dying animation)

i saw that many times. but its unlagged mod so it is normal because of unlagged. btw. posible is that when two players shot and two dies in one time - i had this many times.

so whats the problem?

Since 2.1 i've had this problem alot less.
You can hear the sound of rail being fired an just see the projectile, but u die before it hits enemy.
