I don't understand why I still haven't seen a topic suggesting friendly fire being used in Freeze TAG. AND I don't mean the friendly fire being used now, but as the one where you shoot your teammate and he gets frozen or maybe you get frozen instead.

This was suggested by Wonko a while back I think. Public server admins should really consider enabling the one we have though, the team spam on certain maps is monstrous.

Well, with the FF that there is now it doesn't really matter if you killed your teammate, right? Because he is gonna respawn again and go jump around the map as if nothing happened, so why wouldn't you spam on?

suggestion: reduce teamspam in different ways (lower bfg dmg whatever) and leave ff off...
imagine the big potential of GODDAMNIT /quit u will get if a teammate can freeze you.

i think atm teamspam isnt a big deal anyways, cuz bfg splash and any other weapon i can imagine atm dont affect teammates that much...
in times of 1.03 it really was annoying, flying through the whole map and getting stuck in corners cuz of teamspam, but i think its pretty well balanced atm.
maybe even a bit too soft if i think about the lost art of shooting frozens down or into lava Winking

@Rix, well, in public games you could turn FF off and in CW's on, and then it shouldn't matter whether you get frozen or the teammate who you shot, because it's a CW and you act as a clan and answer for any mistake.

yes right, in a cw that could work, i was also-answering to mircwars post, who said that it should be implemented into public games.
