Ok i decided to make a e+ community movie.

What i need from you is:

check your demos for any great move.

    -nice kill (wether some reflex rail shot or bfg/rocket air kill) -great capture run
    -great freeze strategy (you dont even have to kill anyone, just making your team win by avoidin/thaws is good enough)
    -great CW moments (teams killing each other in one room, constant red leads/blue leads moments)
    -awesome killing sprees
    and so on.

sofar just check demos, then rename those demos to this format:

    playername_map_date.dm_68

    or

    clan1_clan2_map_date.dm_68

and also make a .txt file with same name and in it write down this:

    [xx:xx] yyy:yyy

    where xx:xx is the time in demo, and yyy:yyy score that is written in the small box to the right Happy

    Short description of the frag (is it some ranked competition or public game, why do you think its soo good, name of the performer, and possibly names of targets. Often demos have silly names like "test@warmup" and i would like to remove those and replace them with real names.

If you dont make the text with details DONT BOTHER UPLOADING. I wont be checking it.

1. Download SDC via:

2. To install SDC, Drop it in your q3 arena folder (default location for this folder is in c:/program files/ )

3. run the q3sdc executable, that is found in your q3 arena folder

Important note: make sure u have sdr_fps set to 125 if u want clean demos (default is 15) To set in the console type /sdr_fps 125. This will produce a smoother demo. (note it can only match the original, if your original is sketchy, most likely, so will your re-recorded shot)

4. To load the demo using sdc, use /sdplay [demonamehere]

5. To record your specific shot or scene, type the g_sync 1, then /record [name] like you would to record a regular demo

6. type stoprecord and your done, your new shorter demo is created.

You can use the above to cut the demo down if it is too big.

After all is done do the following:

Send me a

with following details:

Subject: Demo for e+ movie
Text: paste the description of the frag (one included in the rar (read above)).

I will then send you a temporary username and password wich you can use to upload the demo. After you are done, let me know so i can move the demo to a safe place.

nah i think i iwll find some good ones, i semwhere have a demo where i kill 7 persons make blue (score was 14-14) wins.
and i could do some 1on1 spawnfragging, just speak to me in irc

In one of the last clan wars i watched of swe, the average team speed was 10 ups. I've never seen so much camp. And camp and spam looks bad in a movie. Personally, i think that public stuff are far more fun (not 1vs5 noobs but good balanced teams) but i think foksie disagrees so no point to go down there.

Was just a request anyway, based on the fact that with public frags atleast I won't give a damn or be impressed by a single frag I see which kind of takes away the fun. A nice midair rocket or bfg? Mad killing spree? Insane moves? Yeah, those are cool, except in public games where everyone has done it and the enemy was named "nosound.newmouse" sharing his window-moded in-game attention with a poker game.
