Maybe offtopic but i thought that e+ 1.04 will be followed by the first e+ for quake 4 is it right ? imo this mod need to migrate to q4, new players go there and less and less play q3.

maybe its really offtopic but are you sure that q4 e+ will be better than q3? Do this comunity need new players? Is q4 better for multiplayer than q3? I think this mod dont need to migrate into q4. Q4 e+ wont be so funny like q3 e+ Idea

I dont know but those who moved and play already on q4 are not here anymore to say wether or not it's better. The point is that when u are a new player with a new computer you buy and play q4, not q3. I'm sure there is some people here who think that q2 is also better than q3 Big grin

Mh. Ideal situation would be to have E+ simultaneously on Q3 and Q4, so the community transfer can go as smoothly as possible. But i dont think it's that time, yet. I think we should give it a year or two more, before we all start thinking seriously of moving to Q4.

Just saying what i think. Moving a whole community to a different platform isnt an easy task, and frankly, i dont think Q4, as of now, is capable of reproducing the "juice" of E+.. but of course, this could be just me.

They had a successful recipe to make a kickass game but something went wrong. Q4 doesn't do it for me. If Q3 community shrinks too much i'll just move to a different game and wait for Q5 or something.
