some people lag while recording + playing so they don't record
hitsound isn't so important, with the volume so low during a movie you can barely hear hitsounds as it is

I guess you're talking about g_synchronousclients lag (that is like delay in moving, in shooting, when you press 'go forward', in game you go after 0,1 second). Thats why you need to enable g_synchronousclients (1), then start record AND THEN DISABLE g_synchronousclients (. I doubt recording makes any other lags like less fps.

Hmmmm I'd prefer movie with hitsounds coz there will not be each scene with noisy music while fragging. Neverthless hmmm, disabling that hitsound is like somthing original, maybe thats a good idea tho.

yeah with g_sync 0, some people lag, like rudey if i'm not wrong?
anyway, mvd will still be recorded, depends who records themselves (knowing mvd is there i won't record myself)
