It's a great idea and I'd love to participate in something like this, however with moving and getting all new stuff for our apartment it would be a few months before I could. Exchange rate of Euro to USD is nice right now too. Big grin

I don't even want to think what kind of a horror would such a tourney be for the organizator. People wanting their money back because they got their ass kicked, payment probs, people starting to behave very weird, with actual money to win... bleh.

I'm not saying i don't like the idea, but i don't think it would be smooth going, in the unprofessional E+ environment. But whatever, it's not like i would actually participate. Happy

Well... if per se, 4 best clans decided to play it out, and supposing there was an entry fee per clan, not per member then it could work out fine... i.e. finance always brings problems... But there are obviously some rich and serious people on a continent or 3 Big grin, who have good clans backing them up, so why not

*2nd edit* if you want another reasonable point, plz dont read after the this line

*EDIT* on second thought, it probably wont run smooth...imagine is swe (just an example) won, and they had to share the money between themselves... certain problems could arise... and certain people might feel that the money isnt divided fairly, and so on... which results in Hard driving all the way up north and threatening to break the playing hand of a certain Mr. Sandberg, and then accidentally falling down the stairs on a pair of scissors 17 times in a row , the run off to Mexico, where Necro joins him as a per-per-day limo driver, and then he dyes his hair blond and grows a beard so he can act as a proffesional look-a-like during birthdays, Bar Mitzvah's and Assasination Attempts.

@mad
clear rules would make it possible to handle clear

@the russionone
we c how a cup runs smooth at 2v2 cup, about sharing money, it would be up to the organziser, who makes the sharing key and the re-payment.

however, i think it will stay just an idea.

loooooooool

Torz's stripclub is full of treacherous staircases and strategically-placed pairs of scissors, but I'll never dye my hair! Laughing Okay, way off-topic, but uh - wouldn't it work out best if only clan members who played the CW got a share of the cash? Thinking

Most logical would (IMO) be individual payment to be allowed to play for their team in the cup, therefore only actual players are affected (both having to pay anything and also getting anything if they win). Of course nothing that stops people to pay for eachother (BiGDaDDy in team Megaelitez pays his own and his teammate CryBaby's fee as a couple of dollars are no problem to BiGDaDDy while CryBaby is a bit too young to be wasting his pocket money).

Would also eliminate problems with confusion over who is actually in which clan and allowed to play, and encourage sticking with your clan for atleast the duration.

Oh yeah, and when it's about money, EVERYONE records their own ineye demos and uploads by request of anyone of the opposite team or admins. NO EXCUSE EVER.

I read the topic and skimmed through a couple of posts, sorry if it's said already or totally off topic Love struck Will read properly when I get home.

Things like these generally go as smooth as the organizer runs it. ^^

Teams sign up on certain conditions including no refunds for any reason (as it seems it's not about enough money to be worth it anyway) and that [name1] and [name2]'s words are law. There are people here capable of being perfectly neutral and if you don't trust them or anyone then don't sign up. Don't belong in competition Happy
