[Closed] shotgun bug still exists
i'm not sure if its for any specific cfg but sometimes, when using shotgun, even if you hit the player, there's no hitsound and no damage is done
demo shows it, there's no hitsound, but blood shows (with com_blood 1) and no damage is done (demo is 1.03)
the thing u talking about do exist since firs vq3 release if u played baseq3 u should noticed that before

experienced this bug tonight, bout 15 minutes ago, lame cause I almost got fragged
The bug in question doesnt appear on the demo you posted, i played it back on 2.0a and i could not see not even once a shot that makes blood without sound (tried even with /timescale 0.1). I did saw some missing shots even on close range, but thats due to the same sg spread and randomness.
maybe it's clientside effects then?
but i'm more than certain no damage is done
there's been people with such low health, and the blast doesn't kill them and gives the same effectsgo around with shotgun with bots for a bit

No i havent (or at least havent noticed, since i pay more attention to the hitsound and knockback than the blood). Maybe its just the trail that looks like blood?
it really occurs beast, its because sg shoot seems to be a bit delayed or something.
