[Closed] railsound
Rail hitsound is different in 1.04, as is fallsound. Adds to those "wtf" moments (which are plentiful) since you can't really trace from where you get hit, or even that you are hit at all.

For what i can hear it's the same (take into consideration that the gib sound in second shot doesn't let hear the rail sound very well).
@beast, i have noticed that since probably 1.03 mod some sound settings aren't working like s_khz 11 doesn't change the sound quality, there are many more sound settings that does not working
in e+ i can't do much with sound settings while in noGhost i can adjust every aspect of the sound

The engine handles the sound, and noghost runs 1.16.
For each they are very different, i dunno how u can't tell a difference really. It coincides with the 'silent enemy' bug as i call it in 2.0 also. so many times u hear absolutely nothing & if ur not looking the correct direction ur dead, because of silent enemy!

i am pretty sure my cfg worked in 1.02b proper and since 1.03 all went to normal settings and trying to change the sounds effects since then had completely no effect both was on 1.32 i guess
u can ask Szpak, because he was using my pimped sound cfg in 1.02b mod that i am not tripping in here
So why is there a gib sound? (In the first you hear the rail swoosh as it impacts) Both were with 0 armor, is the rail in plusN "weaker"?
edit: here is the fallsound, first fall 1.03 second 1.04 (I keep calling 2.0 that sorry). Same distance, same map, same jump. Different sound.
