[Closed] Possibility to thaw the enemy as an option.
u can already thaw enemy if u want to on most maps.... whats the point?
I think he actually is asking to having the thawing as an option for server side config instead of limiting it as a gametype. If implemented properly it might be used for existing gametypes like ctf or ptl. It might even remove the need of having ftag as a gametype, as it could be plain tdm with the thawing option. Sounds like an interesting suggestion, but a complex one so dont expect it to be implemented anytime soon.

Lol, i understood it wrong then xD. However, i cant see the point of thawing enemies, also in config you can still thaw an enemy with damage anyway. So wont implement.

well, i think that there is no point in such implementation. There are many 'strange' or just 'not-so-clever' guys and girls on publics. Also, playing on publics, few ppl have aim to win map as a team (like blue or red), but mostly its just scoring for urself, like to have more points better efficiency etc. So, bcoz of this, i think that there will be 0 - 0 till suddendeath .
But here is 1 thing about freezing and thawing. Imo FreezeTag has just no friendlyfire good and useful implementation. If we have plusN xp_freezestyle 0 (armors and powerups) having our current ff ur teammate can : shot u and kill to get ur quad; shot u and take ur ability to survive 1 rail ( u had 600+ hp -> 600- hp). Thats just shit. So good idea would be such ff system (only for g_gametype : if ur teammate shots u and produces N damage - U receive NO damage(just knockback) and that person, who shoted, receive N/K damage, where K is a cofficient that should be picked manually

u mean that the teamshooter gets a penalty by losing f.e. half of the damage he would have done to his teammate.

Yea in fw's cws its no point but, in a past there wasn't even such a thing like freez tag... And someone sayed what if we can froze and unfroze ?
Some time ago i was pulled up idea about freez in ffa..
In that way some players if they don't want, plays sneaky by unfreezing and collecting points. unfroze+1 point, will be cool.
As ftag is the key off e+ mostly. So i think expanding this thing, can be attractive and something new.
Btw idea server side whole ftag thing is brilliant thing (hard one but still interesting) !
