[Closed] console anti-anticamp depends on the xp_matchmode value
hello, e+ devs.
there is a so called 'console feature' in e+ which is about to be turned off (in next release, according to beast's words). well, this thing was sometimes useful, especially in training matches: while talking, or showing things, or waiting for smth, or whatever.
maybe you could make it dependable on xp_matchmode cvar value? if it's 0, then anti-anticamping is availabe, if it has value other than 0, then this feature is off, so it wouldn't be abused in FWs/CWs.
with respect, illca.

I think you can remove anti-camp in server config file.
@equi
The point is to enable and disable it, but not by switching configs.
Won't implement.
I know anticamp disabled by console was useful, that's why I said it was a "feature", but making it dependent of xp_matchmode
doesn't seem a good solution. What you can do is add a config setting to control anticamp within the config, like xp_antiCamp
setting in plusN config.
yeah, beast & equi, we should then make xp_anticamp in every cfg which has anti-camp feature enabled. and in every new version of every cfg
anyway, thanx for fast reply
